Maroon Bells, Colorado is one of our nation’s most beloved landscapes. For a long time, I’ve been wanting to do a photo shoot here, so when Hena and Himanshu requested me to photograph their engagement shoot in a mountainous scene, I was quick to recommend them this gem of a location. They fell in love with the idea and we started making plans for the big shoot. The long awaited day of our photo shoot finally arrived, we all flew in to Denver, Colorado and drove a couple of hours to Aspen. The next day, I really wanted to get to the location before dawn, as the Maroon Peaks glow with the rise of the sun. It was super cold in November, the mountain sides were covered in snow, and temperature was in the 20s. But that didn’t stop our brave couple from looking exquisite in their fabulous outfit. Prior to the photo shoot, we had discussed in depth the outfit colors and style to make sure that the couple is the center of focus in this vast landscape. Finally, the moment came when we arrived at the spot. A deep feeling of respect and amazement took over me seeing something so beautiful. The overpowering view of the Maroon Bells and the surrounding peaks filled us all with awe. See for yourself!
